A Thursday in June at Herndon Farmers' Market
Reid's Orchard & Winery has always direct marketed our fruit.  One of the rewards of growing and selling directly to our customers our high quality, low pesticide input fruits and vegetables is the pleasure we have had in getting to know who our customers are.  One of the greatest rewards in our vocation is getting to know the people and the families who enjoy our produce in their daily lives.  We take pride in knowing that our produce is picked at the peak moment of ripeness so that everyone can experience the juiciness of a peach dripping down your chin, the juicy explosion of a just picked cherry, the crunch of an apple picked right and handled correctly.  It is our joy to know that we are able to satisfy the need we all feel to connect with the food of our childhoods, as with our heirloom tomatoes that taste like Grammy's garden 'maters.
